Simple visual inspection, directly on the machine
Camera acquisition, image processing, OK/NOK inspection and machine integration are brought together on the Ltouch platform developed by BieMme.

PCB Presence Detection with Ltouch Vision
A camera acquires the image. Ltouch analyses it. The system returns an OK/NOK result.
This value refers to PCB presence/absence detection under the conditions shown in this demonstration. The camera acquires the image, BieMme proprietary software processes it locally, and Ltouch Vision returns an OK/NOK result.
Approximately 73 ms is the measured average image-processing time for this specific test. It is not a guaranteed total time for acquisition, processing and output actuation. Performance and machine cycle time must be validated for each application.

Not only seeing. Integrating.
BieMme can deliver a complete solution for machine builders, OEMs and system integrators: electrical panel design and manufacturing, industrial wiring, the Ltouch platform, custom software, image acquisition and processing, PLC and I/O integration, supervision and diagnostics.
Each industrial machine-vision application can be adapted after a technical feasibility assessment covering the product, lighting, speed, camera and required machine action.
From camera to machine action
Inspection without specialist vision programming
In this real application, Ltouch Vision was installed on a bottling line to automatically inspect bottles in transit. The operator does not need to know machine-vision algorithms or complex parameters.
Data note: the bottling-line figures refer to a different configuration and are not directly comparable with the 73 ms measured for PCB presence detection.
- Frame the product.
- Select the areas to inspect.
- Define what a correct result looks like.
- Let Ltouch Vision run the inspection automatically.
What Ltouch Vision can inspect
Presence
Components, closures, labels, caps and required details.
Position
Correct alignment and placement inside configured areas.
Orientation
Direction and rotation of parts travelling on the line.
Visual conformity
Comparison with the taught correct condition.
Assembly
Fast verification of visible assembly conditions.
Markings and labels
Presence and visual placement checks close to the machine.
The original recognition concept, now integrated with the machine
The earlier Ltouch Vision demonstration remains part of the project history. The platform has evolved from object recognition on the display to a practical automation tool able to return results directly to the process.
This is not a disconnected smart camera: it is an Android-based industrial platform developed by BieMme, designed to combine interface, vision, software and field integration.
OK/NOK becomes a real machine command
Ltouch Vision provides digital outputs and communication resources that allow the inspection result to become part of the automation cycle.
- Alarm and warning signals
- Non-conforming product indication
- Automatic reject command
- Machine stop or safety interlock
- PLC and device integration
- Data collection and remote supervision through LTcloud

BieMme designs automation systems, develops software and creates its own Ltouch platform internally. Machine vision is therefore integrated into a complete technical architecture: control panels, field signals, Android HMI, quality inspection and remote services.
Ltouch Vision FAQ
Does the operator need machine-vision expertise?
No. The workflow is designed around framing the product, selecting inspection areas and teaching the correct condition.
Can the result control the machine?
Yes. OK/NOK results can be associated with digital outputs, reject devices, alarms, machine stops and PLC logic.
Which production speeds are possible?
Performance depends on the image, inspection areas and process. The bottling application shown operated at about 42 bottles per minute with approximately 0.68 seconds average processing time.
Is it a stand-alone smart camera?
No. Vision is integrated into the Ltouch Android platform together with interface, software and automation connectivity.
Can it inspect more than one area?
Yes. Multiple zones can be configured to verify different visible conditions on the same product.
Can inspection data be stored?
Results can be connected to higher-level systems and, where required, to LTcloud services.
Can BieMme integrate it into an existing line?
Yes. BieMme can assess cameras, timing, I/O, PLC logic, control panels and software integration.
When is Ltouch Vision the right choice?
It is ideal when conventional vision solutions would be oversized and a simpler, closely integrated inspection system is needed.
